The brand creates refined leather goods, jewelry, and rebozo textiles, each handmade by master artisans across Mexico. Originally from Puebla and now based in New York, Mariana worked as a women’s ready to wear designer on runway collections for brands such as The Row, among others. Fuentes Mier is a reflection of that experience, combined with a commitment to supporting Mexico’s craft industries and bringing her roots to life. The brand collaborates closely with a third generation leather workshop in León, a women’s collective in Santa María del Río preserving the traditional trenzado rebozo technique, and silversmiths in Taxco, Guerrero.
